Once your baby has strong head control and is comfortable with her legs splayed (vs froggy) and her knees reaching the end of the carrier, usually about 4-6 months, you can use an Ergobaby baby carrier without the infant insert.

Can you wear baby facing out in Tula?
We do not recommend placing your child in forward facing position in the Standard or Toddler Carrier. If you would like a carrier with the option to forward face, we’d recommend our Explore Tula Baby Carrier that allows you to face in, face out and back carry.

Can you sit while babywearing? Yes, sitting while babywearing is safe as long as your baby’s legs and feet are clear from the sitting surface and no other body parts are being squeezed or pinched by the carrier. I like to hold my son’s feet together and slightly lift them before sitting down.
